Student Generated Test Questions
Basic Strategy
Students generate test questions and model answers for critical areas of learning.
Why would you use?
Helps instructors see what their students consider important or memorable, what they consider to be fair and useful test questions, and how well they can answer the questions other students have posed.
How does it work?
- In groups or individually, students write 2 (or more) test questions that test concepts.
- Questions can be of the following forms (this is up to the instructor): muliple choice, or short answer. Students write the question as well as the answer.
